We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of various civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work on projects that include infrastructure development, building construction, transportation systems, and environmental engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability, considering factors such as environmental impact, cost, and technical requirements.
- Prepare detailed project plans, including engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met and design objectives are achieved.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of construction schedules, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Perform structural analysis and design of various elements, such as buildings, bridges, roads, drainage systems, and retaining walls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Civil Engineer, with expertise in designing and managing civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
